Many lovelies in my life playing music these days. Two events to check out this week.
1. Tuesday, 11/11 (tonight) Boys playing the Sitar, Hulusi, Tabla, and percussion (featuring none other than Jacob) will play at Namaste Yoga & Tranquility Center after a period of open meditation. Revitalize while listening and get a free Chakra cleansing when it’s all over. Relaxation and music start at 10 p.m., 336 Grand Street, $5.
2. Friday, 11/14. Josephine plays her part in the Main Squeeze Orchestra, an 18-women accordion band. You heard me right. 18 women, 18 accordions. 8 p.m., Galapagos, $12.
